BC Chamber of Commerce - known to be in operation as early as 1867, was re-established in 1951. The B.C. Chamber is registered under the Society Act (B.C.) as a volunteer not for profit association. As "The Voice of B.C. Business", The B.C. Chamber, through our local member chambers and corporate members, represents over 25,000 businesses throughout British Columbia.

Vancouver Board of Trade - For more than 100 years, The Vancouver Board of Trade has helped businesses of all sizes to grow and prosper.  Our mission is to work in the enlightened interest of our members to promote, enhance and facilitate the development of the region as a Pacific centre for trade, commerce and travel. The Board strives to enable and empower its members to succeed, grow and prosper in the global economy.

Economic Development Association of British Columbia (EDABC)
- is the leading provincial association of economic development practitioners and is dedicated to providing services that support the activities, profile and development of its members and their economic development goals.

Vancouver Enterprise Forum (VEF)- a society that holds monthly "forums" at B.C.'s Science World to provide attendees with an opportunity to network with each other and discover more about a presenting business, association, or issue.

BC Cancer Research Centre - the research arm of the BC Cancer Agency.

BC Centre for Disease Control - supports a comprehensive program of communicable disease and environmental health prevention and control for BC.

BC Innovation Council - is the lead organization charged with driving the commercialization of innovation in British Columbia. BCIC is focused on accelerating the growth of our science and technology communities and competitively positioning British Columbia in the global science and technology economy in order to provide significant employment opportunities and a high standard of living for British Columbians.

Child & Family Research Institute (CFRI) - is committed to world-class research spanning a wide range of children’s and women’s health concerns. It is the largest research institute of its kind in Western Canada.

British Columbia Centre of Excellence for Women's Health - which fosters collaboration on innovative, multi-disciplinary research endeavours and action-oriented approaches to women's health initiatives.

British Columbia Rural & Remote Health Research Institute - which studies the compromised health status and quality of life among rural, remote and northern populations.

Kootenay Association for Science & Technology (KAST) - which fosters a culture that values science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship as activities vital to maintaining and enhancing the regional economy.

LifeSciences BC - is a biotechnology industry association that increases members' ability to network and gather information on an international basis.

Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research - which leads, partners and serves as a catalyst to build British Columbia's capacity for excellence in clinical, biomedical, health services and population health research.
